How to Find a Journal Article at the Library
 

1.  Go to the 2nd floor of the library.
2.  As you get off the elevator, turn left.
3. Go into the room to your left.  It is glassed in.
4.  Sit at a computer.
5.  Go to “Home”
6.  Click on “Magazines, Newspapers, and Journal Abstract Index
7.  Click on “Sub. Spec. Journal Indexes”
8.  Click on “Education”
9.  Click on “ERIC”
10.  Click on “Connects to Winspears”
11.  Click “OK”
12.  Search “Subject”
13.  Scroll and find article that you need.
14.  Click on the articles you choose.
15.  Click on “Print”

To check to see if the library has the journals that contain the articles you
chose:
1.  Exit out
2.  Go back to “Home”
3.  Click on “Library Catalogs”
4.  At database selection type: SLU
5.  Hit enter
6.  Choose: T= (name of journal)
7.  Follow commands and it will tell where the journal is located in the library.
8.  Write holding #
9.  Locate journal and article.
10.  Copy
