Developmental English 090 is designed to prepare students for English 101 by enabling them to gain grammar and writing skills.  This particular course has a workshop atmosphere where students are responsible for their own growth as writers.  During the semester, students will write several essays and have the opportunity to revise and develop those essays.  Evaluation for this course is in the form of a final portfolio which represents the student's best work and an essay final.
