We are generally interested in understanding adaptation from molecules to ecology. We use the emerging model system, morning glories, as the focus of our research. Towards this goal, we have ongoing research on the molecular evolution of anthocyanin pathway genes, phylogenetic systematics of morning glories, and the evolution of ecologically important traits.
