Vision: The Excellence in Health and Education Project (EHEP) at Southeastern Louisiana University enhances the health and quality of life of individuals, families and communities in Louisiana through partnerships.

Mission: The EHEP blends the perspectives of diverse groups through collaboration with local, regional and state partners. It fosters interdisciplinary activities that provide leadership and advocacy to Louisiana and the nation through education, research and dissemination.

Goals: EHEP will

• Provide state-of-the-art teaching and learning opportunities in health and education.
• Serve in an advocacy role for the health and well being of individuals in schools and communities.
• Provide state-of-the-art research and evaluation services and opportunities in health and education.
• Engage in marketing strategies to promote its mission, vision, goals and accomplishments.
• Establish the necessary structure for a model center of excellence in health and education.
• Maximize the infusion of technology to promote its mission and implement its goals.
• Establish and provide a clearinghouse of resources and materials for coordinated health and education.
• Engage in strategically planned fund raising and budgeting activities.
