*A journal writing on how the surface area of the walls to be painted were found, and a writing on how student decided what materials were to be used. *Check calculations on cost of each type of material and total cost. *Oral presentation with visuals. |

*Observe groups as they take their measurements and record information. Make sure information is recorded in an orderly fashion. *Have each group make a presentation to the class to try to get them to hire their decorating company. The presentation should include visuals. |

Decide how much redecorating you could do on a restricted budget. Figure the cost of building something using square footage. Decide how much you have to charge to make a certain percentage on your profit. See how much you could save if there were a sale on the materials you had to purchase. |
