February 14 6 pm: Cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres 7:30 pm: Performance Post performance: Champagne and chocolates Smokey Joe’s Café showcases the songs of premier rock & roll songwriters of the pre-Beatles era, Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller, creators of such enduring standards as “Kansas City,” “Hound Dog,” “Stand By Me,” “Spanish Harlem,” and “Jailhouse Rock.” Those songs and 33 more complete this longest running musical review in Broadway history, which was nominated for eight Tony Awards. This benefit performance will be preceded by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres with a post-performance dessert and champagne reception. Proceeds from this event will benefit future Columbia/Fanfare programming. Tickets for Smokey Joe’s Café are not available online.
