Survivors II

Jambori Rimba
The steaming Borneo jungle embraces you as you walk into a darkened room reverberating with cicadas, drums, singing, and bird calls. An art video shows mysterious jungle images melting into one another. Inviting handmade instruments call you to add your own creativity. A stereo tape plays composed music and authentic cries of insects, birds, and frogs. Through this audience-interactive video/musical installation by video artist Hasnul Jamal Saidon and composer/performer duo "The McLean Mix" you will experience the beauty and harmony of the fragile rainforest.
