Prairie Winds

Phoenix Boys Choir
With their engaging smiles, endearing humor and angelical voices, the 24-member Phoenix Boys Choir has been thrilling audiences for more than 40 years. Their eight CDs include Penderecki's Credo with the Oregon Bach Festival Orchestra and Chorus which won a Grammy Award in 2002 for Best Choral Performance.

Godzilla Eats Las Vegas!
Glen J. Hemberger conducts the acclaimed Southeastern Wind Symphony in a
concert featuring the music of Gustav Mahler and Richard Strauss, and Eric Whitacre's Godzilla Eats Las Vegas!  Joining the Wind Symphony will be renowned horn virtuoso Eric Ruske.  Named associate principal horn of the Cleveland Orchestra at the age of 20, Ruske's impressive solo career began when he won the 1986 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, First Prize in the 1987 American Horn Competition, and the highest prize in the 1988 Concours International d'Interprétation Musicale in Reims, France.

Fanfare Consort

Join the students of our own Opera/Music Theatre Workshop for an evening of enchanting Broadway classics.

Kathy Mattea has twice been honored as the Country Music Association’s female vocalist of the year and has garnered two Grammy Awards. Now, the velvet-voiced singer is following a new musical path, entering into the gentle and sophisticated world of folk music with a style she describes as “contemporary folk with a Celtic twist.”

Rachel Van Voorhees, harp
Trained at Julliard and Yale, Rachel Van Voorhees is the principal harpist of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and the world-famous Windsor Court Hotel. She also has performed with a wide rage of Louisiana's finest classical, jazz, pop, gospel, R&B, Cajun and rock musicians.
