The Capitol
Steps were evolved during the Reagan Administration when three Congressional
staffers reasoned that if entertainers could become politicians, politicians
could become entertainers. The only group in Washington that attempts to
be funnier than the Congress, the troupe digs into the headlines and hot
topics of the day to create new lyrics for familiar tunes, skewering everyone,
left, right or center. The Capitol Steps has a laugh and an insult for
everyone.
