Nicole Cabell, soprano
A rising star in the world of opera, Chicago-based soprano Nicole Cabell won the 2005 winner of the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition, the top prize for emerging opera talent. Tall and beautiful, Cabell has a distinctive voice gilded with a dusky overcoat that adds sensuality and sophisticated colour to her freshness. She was recently featured in Marilyn Horne’s Birthday Gala at Carnegie’s Zankel Hall and will soon debut with the renowned Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the Metropolitan Opera.

Glen J. Hemberger conducts the acclaimed Southeastern Wind Symphony in a concert featuring the music of Michael Daugherty, Percy Grainger, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Camille Saint-Saëns. Joining the symphony is renowned prize-winning euphonium virtuoso Adam Frey, who has soloed with many of the world's finest wind symphonies and orchestras.
