KIMBERLY DOTTOLO WINS 2004 MISS

SOUTHEASTERN WINNERS – Southeastern Louisiana University President Randy
Moffett congratulates the top contestants in the annual Miss Southeastern
pageant, held March 4 at the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts.

KIMBERLY DOTTOLO WINS 2004 MISS
SOUTHEASTERN CROWN
HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana
University mathematics education major Kimberly Dottolo of Ponchatoula
has been chosen Miss Southeastern 2004.
Dottolo received her crown from
Miss Southeastern 2003 Jennifer Louise Soileau of Slidell at the annual
pageant March 4 at Southeastern’s Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Dottolo, a junior who is co-captain
of the Southeastern Lionettes, won the swimsuit and talent segments of
the pageant and tied for first place in the evening gown segment with second
runner-up Tara Fooshee, a senior accounting major from Walker. For the
talent segment, Dottolo performed a lyrical dance to Mandy Moore’s “Only
Hope.”
The first runner-up award went
to senior mass communication major Natalie Crump of Baton Rouge, who also
won the interview segment. Third runner up was sophomore English education
major Jeuri McCon of Walker. Freshman nursing major Carrie Mallahan of
Kenner was named the pageant’s Miss Congeniality.
The Miss Southeastern pageant
is affiliated with the Miss America Pageant system. Dottolo will
advance to the Miss Louisiana pageant, which will be held in Monroe in
June. |
