News release Public Information Office  SLU 10880   Hammond, LA 70402   phone: 985-549-2341   fax: 985-549-2061 publicinfo@selu.edu Spring 2004 news releases Public Information home News archive Contact: Angey Saucier Date: 3/4/04   SBDC OFFERS INTERNET BASICS COURSE          HAMMOND – The Small Business Development Center and Division of Continuing Education and Special Activities at Southeastern Louisiana University, along with the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce, will offer a two night “Internet Basics” course on March 16 and 23 at the St. Tammany Center in Mandeville.         From 5:30-8:30 p.m., Marianne Huval, president of New Directives in Covington, will introduce the participant to the world of cyberspace and discuss topics such as use of a web browser, how to use and understand URLs, general web navigation, the use of bookmarks, search tools, and more.         Registration is $30 for St. Tammany West Chamber members, $40 for non members.
