HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND PARENTS INVITED TO SLU FINANCIAL AID NIGHT
HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana
University invites high school students and their parents to Financial
Aid Night, scheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, in the War
Memorial Student Union Ballroom and Theatre.
“Financial Aid Night is designed
to educate students and parents about financial aid assistance for college,”
said financial aid counselor Kenya Varnado.
Financial aid administrators
from Southeastern, as well as a representative from the Louisiana Office
of Student Financial Assistance, will be present to answer questions and
concerns. Scheduled topics include financial aid programs, application
procedures, scholarships and the state’s Tuition Opportunity Program for
Students (TOPS) scholarship.
Refreshments will be served and
door prizes awarded.
