SLU SBDC HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SERIES CONTINUES NOV. 20
     HAMMOND -- The Southeastern Louisiana University Small Business Development
Center will sponsor "Compensating Your Employees," the fourth seminar in its five-part Human
Resource series, from 8 a.m.-noon Nov. 20 in the SLU University Center. The seminar will focus
on compensation packages, benefits, promotions and recognition systems.
     The cost to attend is $30, $25 for each additional person from the same company. Since
seating is limited, required preregistration is on a first come-first served basis. Refreshments and
extensive handout materials will be available.
     Previous topics in the series have included "Finding and Hiring the Right People,"
"Workplace Regulations" and "Getting the Most from Your Employees." December's topic is
"Employee Development and Training."
