| SOUTHEASTERN NURSING OFFERS FREE PERSONAL SAFETY NOV. 7
HAMMOND – On Thursday, November 7, students, faculty and staff at Southeastern Louisiana University can learn personal safety awareness and tactics when students from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences offer a free seminar in the Student Union Ballroom. Conducted by students in Southeastern professor Sandra MacMurdo's Nursing 488 lab, Promoting a Healthy Community, the seminar will include a self awareness video, demonstrations of safety tactics, and education on date rape drugs. Door prizes will be awarded. "The topics are mostly focused at women, but men are welcome also," said Crystal Bonfanti, a Nursing 488 student from Baton Rouge.
