| SOUTHEASTERN EARLY REGISTRATION MARCH 25-28 FOR SUMMER,
MARCH 31-APRIL 4 FOR FALL HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University students can early register March 25-28 for the summer 2003 semester and March 31-April 4 for the fall 2003 session. Students eligible to participate in the early class scheduling will receive notice of early registration dates and details through their official campus e-mail accounts, Southeastern officials said. Students can access their campus e-mail accounts through the "WebMail" link on the university's homepage, www.selu.edu. They also can view class schedules and check registration appointments by clicking on the homepage "Leo" icon. Students are also reminded to make appointments with their department for academic advising. Early registration is for all currently enrolled students, students who have been enrolled within the past year, and upperclass applicants who complete the application process by March 26 for the summer semester and April 2 for the fall. Students must also be in good financial standing with the university. They can check account balances on the web or contact the Controller's Office, Student Accounts Receivable, 985-549-2068 or 3993. The summer 2003 semester begins June 4. Students who register early for summer classes must pay fees by May 30 and can drop and add classes on June 2. The first class day for the fall 2003 semester is August 25. August 15 is the fee deadline for fall early registrants and August 12-15 is their drop-add session. Regular registration is June 2-3 for the summer session and August 19-21 for the fall. New students, students who did not meet the early registration fee payment deadline, and those who did not early register can sign up for classes on those dates.
