OTHELLO – Aquila Theatre Company’s production of Shakespeare’s “Othello,” will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts. The great Shakespearean masterpiece, which explores human nature and the destruction of a noble spirit, is given new life with Aquila’s national reputation for retelling classics in a vibrant and visual way.

FANFARE CONSORT – The Fanfare Consort transports audiences to the past, presenting 16th and 17th century music just as it would have been heard then, period instruments and all Thursday, Oct. 30.

SLU_Fanfare_Swing Set
PICNIC ‘N POPS – Fanfare’s traditional Picnic ‘n Pops jumps, jives and wails Sunday, Oct. 27 with Swing Set, three sassy female vocalists backed by a hot six piece band. The swinging combo takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. in Southeastern’s University Center.
