North Shore chambers, parish governments, Southeastern unite to sponsor gubernatorial forum Moderator, panelists selected for North Shore Gubernatorial Forum North Shore Gubernatorial Forum to be broadcast live on TV, radio Public invited to North Shore Gubernatorial Forum Sept. 10 90.9 KSLU AND LOUISIANA NETWORK TO BROADCAST GUBERNATORIAL FORUM HAMMOND -- A gubernatorial forum at Southeastern Louisiana University scheduled for September 10 will be made available to radio stations across Louisiana in a live broadcast from the university’s radio station, 90.9 KSLU, and sent out through the Louisiana Network. Scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Southeastern University Center, the forum is sponsored by the Greater Slidell Area, Hammond, and St. Tammany West chambers of commerce, the governments of Tangipahoa, St. Tammany and Washington parishes, and Southeastern. It will allow gubernatorial candidates to speak out on their plans for the growing north shore region. LN member stations will be able to carry the broadcast through the Louisiana Network satellite facilities on AMC 9. The broadcast will be available to non-member stations on a first-come first-served basis as well. The broadcast will be available via streaming at www.selu.edu/kslu and will also be available via television on the Southeastern Channel, Southeastern's educational access channel, and sent via Charter Communication to stations in St. Tammany and Washington parishes.
