2005 SOUTHEASTERN HOMECOMING QUEEN AND KING
-- Laura Gueringer of Baton Rouge, a senior majoring in Family and Consumer
Science with a concentration in fashion merchandising and Tommy Silbernagel
of Pearl River, a senior marketing major, were crowned queen and king of
Southeastern Louisiana University’s 2005 Homecoming festivities. Gueringer
was selected outstanding senior of Phi Mu Fraternity and is a Dean’s List
and Honor Roll student. She is treasurer of the Southeastern Association
of Family and Consumer Sciences, a member of the Emerald Girls for Southeastern
baseball and a former Southeastern cheerleader. Silbernagel is a member
of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, currently serving as second vice president.
He also is first vice president of the Interfraternity Council and is Greek
liaison for the Student Government Association. Congratulating the Homecoming
royalty, who were crowned at halftime of the Southeastern-Nicholls football
game at Strawberry Stadium on Nov. 12, are Alumni Association President
Ken Kenelly, left, and President Randy Moffett, right. |
