ELECTED PRESIDENT OF NACAS-SOUTH
HAMMOND -- Steve Leon, director
of Auxiliary Services at Southeastern Louisiana University, has been elected
president of the National Association of College Auxiliary Services-South
(NACAS-South).
Leon was chosen for the office at the association's 2004 annual
conference held recently in Hilton Head, S.C.
NACAS-South's goal is to advance
the profession of auxiliary and business services in higher education by
providing members with professional development and networking opportunities.
The southern region encompasses Louisiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, Alabama,
North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee
and Mississippi.
The National Association of College
Auxiliary Services (NACAS), headquartered in Charlottesville, Va., is the
largest auxiliary services support organization serving higher education.
Membership includes colleges and universities throughout the United States,
Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. NACAS is committed
to serving and enhancing the auxiliary services and campus support services
profession. |
