SOUTHEASTERN HOLDS THIRD ANNUAL MBA PINNING
CEREMONY
HAMMOND – Southeastern
Louisiana University’s Master of Business Administration program recently
held its third annual pinning ceremony for 35 summer graduates.
Held in the lobby of the R. Norval
Garrett College of Business and Technology Building, 35 MBA students from
19 countries celebrated their graduation with friends, family and mentors
from the program.
“The pinning ceremony was designed
to honor students who complete their MBA studies at the end of the summer
semester,” said Josie Walker, director of the Executive MBA program.
“This is the college’s way of honoring them since many are international
students or have careers that hinder their attending winter convocation
where summer graduates are recognized.”
Pins and gifts were presented
by Walker and Michael Budden, dean of the College of Business and Technology.

Southeastern’s Master of Business
Administration program was established in 1969 and was accredited by the
International Association for Management Education in 1987. Currently,
more than 250 students from around the world are enrolled in the program.
In addition to the United States, the most represented countries in Southeastern’s
MBA program are Germany, France, Colombia, Venezuela, India, Taiwan, China
and Indonesia. |
