News release <Public Information Office   SLU 10880   Hammond, LA 70402   phone: 985-549-2341   fax: 985-549-2061 publicinfo@selu.edu     www.selu.edu/news Contact: Angey Saucier Date: 6/13/03   SBDC HOSTS QUICKBOOKS SEMINAR       HAMMOND – The Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University, along with the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce, will host “Using and Understanding QuickBooks Pro,” July 21 and 23.       The two-night course will be held at the Southeastern St. Tammany Center on Koop Drive from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The speaker will be William Joubert, director of economic and business development at Southeastern. Topics include creating invoices and tracking receivables, generating reports and graphs, entering and paying bills, and tracking and paying sales tax.         The cost of the seminar is $100.  Pre-registration is required and seating is limited.  For more information or to register, call SBDC at 985-549-3831.
