ANTIQUE  SHOP TOUR, MARCH 23
     HAMMOND   If you love browsing through antique shops, but wish you had a better
idea of what to look for, then a new Southeastern Louisiana University continuing education
course, "Antique Shop Tour," is what you need. 
     Co-sponsored by Southeastern and the Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce, the one-day
course will take participants on a tour of six area antique shops. Visitors will learn about the
specialities of each shop from the shop's owners. The types of antiques highlighted will include
jewelry, French and English furniture, glassware and quilting. 
     The class will be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, March 23. The $45 fee includes
lunch at the Maison D'or Bed and Breakfast in Ponchatoula. Participants must be 20 years old or
older.
