SLU SPONSORS MUSIC CAMP FOR HIGH SCHOOL MUSICIANS
     HAMMOND -- High school musicians can tune up their skills this summer at a special
camp sponsored by the Southeastern Louisiana University Music Department.
     The SLU Summer High School Instrumental Music Camp will be held July 14-18 at
Southeastern's Ralph R. Pottle Music Building. The camp, taught by Southeastern faculty and
students under the direction of Director of Bands Frank Dubuy, is open to pianists, wind
instrumentalists, percussionists or bowed string instrumentalists.
     The camp program includes band, small ensembles, evening recitals, music theory,
private lessons, and recreation. 
     The cost of the camp  is $110 per student. A $40 deposit is due upon application with the
$70 balance payable at registration on July 14. The fee includes tuition, recreational activities,
daily lunch and dinner, liability insurance and campus health services.
