FANFARE BOX OFFICE OPENS SEPT. 18
     HAMMOND -- Tickets for the 15th season of Fanfare, Southeastern Louisiana
University's annual October arts festival, go on sale Sept. 18 when the Fanfare box office opens
at Gate 1 of the SLU University Center on University Ave.
      Box office hours are 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., weekdays, and the telephone number is 504-
549-2323.
     Tickets also can be ordered by mail through the order form in the 2000 Fanfare brochure,
which will be available soon. For a brochure or for additional information about Fanfare  events,
call the Public Information Office, 504-549-2341, or send e-mail to publicinfo@selu.edu. 
     Ticket prices, a schedule of events, information and photographs on individual events and
a list of Fanfare's corporate sponsors is also available on Fanfare's web site, www.selu.edu/
fanfare.
     The 15th season of Fanfare features "Angela's Ashes" author Frank McCourt; Riverdance
fiddler Eileen Ivers; the Empire Brass; the Ballet Stars of Moscow; Alabama Shakespeare
Festival; Five by Design's swing era tribute, "Club Swing"; Linda Tillery and the Cultural
Heritage Choir; Jazz Downtown, Fanfare's own mini-jazz fest; a variety of programs designed to
delight families, and a special original ballet saluting Southeastern's 75th anniversary. Fanfare's
more than 60 events are scheduled from Sept.29-Nov. 6.
