BUCKS FOR TRUCKS   Southeastern Louisiana University Student Government Association
officers, along with McNeese State University SGA President Jody Redlich, helped christen the
"Spirit of Louisiana," a 1,000-gallon-per-minute pumper truck to be donated to the City of New
York as a gift from the people of Louisiana. USL institutions, including Southeastern, plan to
raise at least $78,000. Southeastern's goal is $14,500, or one dollar per student. Students will
collect donations in the War Memorial Student Union Mall next week and at Southeastern
volleyball and men's and women's basketball games. From left, are Southeastern Senate Chair
