SLU'S CAREER FAIR TO HOST MORE THAN 100 EMPLOYERS
HAMMOND -- More than 100 employers will be on hand September 14 for
Southeastern Louisiana University's annual Career 2000 Employment Festival.
The festival, the university's largest ever, is open to all Southeastern students and alumni
and will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Twelve Oaks.
The event provides students and alumni with information on careers and existing and
future employment possibilities, said Sam Domiano, director of Southeastern's Career
Development Services.
More than 100 employers have signed up to man informational booths at the event,
Domiano said. "Some of the employers have immediate needs, some have an on-going
recruitment process. Seniors and alumni are encouraged to dress appropriately and to have
resumes available should an employer request one for future contact."
Domiano said an interview room has been set up for the employers' use.

Southeastern's Graduate School and departments of Counseling, Family Studies and
Leadership and Kinesiology and Health Studies will also be represented.
