CHEFS EVENING HELPS CELEBRATE SOUTHEASTERN'S 75TH
HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University's 75-year tradition of excellence will
be the theme of this year's Chefs Evening, Southeastern's popular annual food festival and
fundraiser, scheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday March. 12, in the University Center.
In honor of the 75th Anniversary celebration, Chefs Evening has added a festive new twist
this year -- an off campus patron party held in a private home just prior to the big event.
Also new this year are various levels for ticket orders which can include the Patron Party,
reserved tables and even a 75th anniversary commemorative gift.
"We're excited about Chefs Evening being a part of the 75th celebration," said Mary Lou
Coats, coordinator. "And we think our guests will enjoy the new ticket options."
In addition to the $35 individual tickets to Chefs Evening, other ticket packages include
the "Dean's List" level with 1 ticket each to Chefs Evening and the Patron Party at $75, while the
"Cum Laude" level at $150 offers 2 tickets to each event and a commemorative gift. At $320 the
"Magna Cum Laude" level has 8 tickets to Chefs Evening and a reserved table. Advancing to the
"Summa Cum Laude" level at $400 includes 8 tickets to both Chefs Evening and the Patron
Party as well as a reserved table. The highest level, President's Medal at $500, offers 8 tickets to
both events, a reserved table and the commemorative gift.

Crescent Bar, Cuco's Restaurant, Cypress Bistro, Don's Seafood & Steakhouse, Garrison's Global
Caf‚, Hon Yum, Jim Carey Distributor, Jacmel Inn, Jambalaya and Company, Lagniappe
Catering, Little Chicago Pizza, Michabelle, Murphy's Seafood Restaurant, P. J.'s Coffee, Paul's
Cafe, Pepper Tree, Piccadilly, Piero Ristorante, Robert Mondavi Winery, Steve's Custom
Catering, Tommy's Pizza, Tope l , and Trey Yuen.
