NORTHSHORE CHILDREN'S THEATRE HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR "CINDERELLA"
     HAMMOND -- Young actors and dancers ages seven to 17 are invited to audition for the
Northshore Children's Theatre's upcoming production of "Cinderella."
     Northshore Children's Theatre debuted last summer as a project of Southeastern's
Cultural Resource Management Program. It is sponsored by the Methodist-Presbyterian Ministry
at Southeastern.
     Don Marshall, director of the Cultural Resource Management Program, said auditions are
scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, August 18, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday August 19, at
the Wesley Center, 307 W. Dakota Street (across from Southeastern's White Hall).
     Marshall said 14 actors and eight dancers -- boys and girls -- are needed. No experience is
necessary and young people auditioning are asked to come dressed in comfortable clothing.
Auditions will take place in groups of five every 30 minutes, Marshall said. Rehearsals will be
held from August 21-September 21. 
     "Cinderella" will be performed September 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and Oct. 1 at the Music
Recital Hall. Performance times are 7 p.m., Fridays, and 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
