NORTHSHORE CHILDREN'S THEATRE PRESENTS "CINDERELLA"
HAMMOND -- Northshore Children's Theatre's will present an original production of
"Cinderella" starring area children, Sept. 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 and Oct. 1 at Southeastern Louisiana
University's Music Recital Hall.
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Fridays and 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
"Cinderella" is directed by Selisa Hue with set design by Woody Stephens and costumes by Janie
Cassens.
Northshore Children's Theatre debuted last summer as a project of Southeastern's
Cultural Resource Management Program. It is sponsored by the Methodist-Presbyterian Ministry
at Southeastern.
"Cinderella" cast members include Wendy Kinchen, fairy godmother; Kalyn Vallot,
Cinderella; Kay Butler, stepmother; Whitney Allen, Frizzelda; Karli Sherman, Griselda; Nelie
Durham, Paulina Pfelyne; Elizabeth Salathe, Gustav Maus; Nurrie Wilson, Franz Maus; Natalie
Newton, Hildy Maus; Maggie Conarro, Buttercup Maus; Jonathan Shipp, King Anselmo;
Rodney
Jelks, Prince Frederik; Stephen Pfeil, Lord George, and Daniel Durham, Sparky. Dancers at the
ball are Amanda Jelks, Amanda Peplow, Jordan Kea, and Kaleigh Terrebonne.
Kyle Peltier is assistant director and James Heath is choreographer. Karli Sherman is
dance team captain, while Taylor Vallot and Frankie Norfleet are the construction and backstage
crew.
Tickets for "Cinderella" are $5 for adults and $3 for children and will be available at the
door.
