| SOUTHEASTERN COACHES TO VISIT AMITE
HAMMOND -- Area residents are invited to meet Southeastern Louisiana University’s coaches, including new coaches in football, baseball and basketball, at a reception Thursday, Oct. 3, at Ardillo’s Restaurant in Amite. The reception is scheduled for 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the restaurant, located at 11128 Hwy. 16 West. Participants can register for the event online at www.selu.edu/alumni or call Assistant Alumni Director Tom Dawsey at 985-549-2150 or 1-800-758-2586. At the event, they can also register for a cruise that will be given away during Southeastern Homecoming Week, Nov. 4-9. New head coaches who have recently joined Southeastern’s athletics staff are Lori Davis-Jones, women’s basketball; Hal Mumme, football; and Dan Canevari, baseball. Assistant coaches recently added to the staff include strength coach Joseph Hruby; Ramona Pagel, track/cross country; William Dailey, baseball; Brent Harris and Eric Dumas, women’s basketball, and Woody Widenhofer, football. |
