SLU CONCERT BAND PLANS SEPT. 10 CONCERT
     HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University s Concert Band will present a free
program featuring soloist David Johansen, trombone, on Sept. 10.
     The concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Pottle Music Building Auditorium.
     Johansen, who has joined the Southeastern Music Department faculty as professor of low
brass, is making his debut performance with the Concert Band.
     Under the baton of Frank Dubuy, Southeastern director of bands, the Concert Band will
perform Holst s  First Suite in E Flat,  Elsa s  Procession to the Cathedral  and Wagner s  Jolly
Robber Overture  along with other light concert favorites.
