AFRICAN AMERICAN FACULTY/STAFF OF THE YEAR -- Albert Doucette of Slidell
received the Southeastern Louisiana University African American Faculty/Staff of the Year
Award at a recent awards ceremony. The award was given by the Office of Multicultural Affairs
in recognition of dedicated service and concerned support to the office and the students it serves.
Doucette, a professor of biology, also serves as assistant dean for the College of Arts & Sciences.
