SOUTHEASTERN OFFERS OFF CAMPUS COURSES FOR THE FALL
HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University's Office of Continuing Education and
Special Activities is offering credit courses at several off-campus locations for fall 2000. Those
locations include
Livingston Parish: SLU Baton Rouge Center, Denham Springs High School and Walker
High School.
St. Charles Parish: Destrehan High School.
St. John the Baptish Parish: East St. John High School, the Milesville Center.
St. Tammany Parish: SLU St. Tammany Center, Bonne Ecole Elementary School, Slidell;
Mandeville High School, Mandeville Jr. High School, Magnolia Trace Elementary, Mandeville;
Salmen High School, Slidell.
Washington Parish: Bogalusa High School, Louisiana Technical College, Bogalusa
Campus; Franklinton High School, Franklinton Jr. High School.
Southeastern Continuing Education also is offering technology courses in Special Studies in
Literature, Western Civilization, American History, Personal Health and Introduction to
Sociology.
The courses can be viewed on public television or at the campus's Sims Memorial Library. More
than 40 courses are also offered via the Internet.
Students who wish to register for off-campus courses may do so from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday
August 15 at the following locations: Denham Springs High School, East St. John High School,
Destrehan High School, SLU St. Tammany and the Louisiana Technical College, Bogalusa
Campus.
