HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University’s Recreational Sports and Wellness Department is sponsoring a new flag football league for adults.
      Joey Michel, coordinator of intramural sports, said games will be played on Thursday and Sunday nights at North Oak Park.
      The league is open to all community members, Michel said. Teams must have at least seven members. 
      The entry fee is $100, plus $20 per game for officials. To register a team, contact Michel at 985-549-2125 or jmichel@selu.edu by 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 26.
