GOVERNOR FOSTER TO SPEAK AT SLU MARCH 13
     HAMMOND -- Governor Murphy J. "Mike" Foster III will discuss his four-part plan to
revitalize education in Louisiana at a special March 13 forum at Southeastern Louisiana
University in Hammond.
     The forum is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. March 13 in the University Center, 700
W. University Ave. The public is invited. University officials suggest people arrive early for
parking.
     Sponsors include SLU Community Advisory Council, Hammond Chamber of
Commerce, BellSouth, Louisiana Association of Educators, Louisiana Federation of Teachers,
Tangipahoa Federation of Teachers, Hammond Area Campus--Louisiana Technical College,
American Business Women's Association, Republican Women's Clubs of Hammond, Mandeville
and Slidell, and the Women's Association of Northshore Democrats.
