News release Public Information Office  SLU 10880   Hammond, LA 70402   phone: 985-549-2341   fax: 985-549-2061 publicinfo@selu.edu Spring 2004 news releases Public Information home News archive Contact: Christina Chapple Date: 9/20/04   SOUTHEASTERN EXTENDS GRADUATION APPLICATION DEADLINE TO SEPT. 24      HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University has extended until Friday, Sept. 24 the deadline for applying for fall 2004 graduation.       Originally Sept. 15, the deadline was changed because of closures associated with Hurricane Ivan.      The new graduation application and payment deadlines will be strictly enforced, university officials said.       Candidates for associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees can apply for graduation by logging into their Leonet campus accounts and choosing the "Apply for Graduation" option.  Instructions are available on the "Student" link at www.selu.edu or by calling Southeastern's Office of Records and Registration at 985-549-2066/62.       The $35 application fee should be paid directly to the Controller's Office, located on North Campus in the Financial Aid Building.
