WELCOME HOME!--Rachel Guarino of Southeastern Louisiana University's chapter of
Alpha Omicron Pi sorority reacts to discovering which of the units in Southeastern's new Greek
Village will belong to AOPi. After signing a special document on October 27 as the charter
occupants of the unique $7 million residential housing facility for sororities and fraternities,
Greek representatives found out which of the 11 units they will occupy by unlocking wooden
boxes arranged to duplicate Greek Village's layout. Greek Village, being built by Capstone
Development of Birmingham, Ala., will be completed by late January 2001. The facility is
adjacent to Southeastern Oaks on the university's North Campus. "Congratulations, you earned
it! Welcome home!" President Sally Clausen told students members of AOPi, Alpha Sigma Tau,
Delta Sigma Theta, Phi Mu, Sigma Sigma Sigma, and Theta Phi Alpha sororities and Delta Tau
Delta, Sigma Tau Gamma, Tau Kappa Epsilon and Theta Chi fraternities.
