LECTURE HIGHLIGHTS "BALANCING YOUR HORMONES"
HAMMOND -- Health educator and nurse Ginger R. Kraemer of Kraemer Health
Solutions, Inc., in Hammond will present "Balancing Your Hormones," a lecture for women and
health professionals, at Southeastern Louisiana University on April 24.
The free lecture, sponsored by the SLU Kinesiology and Health Studies Department and
the Southeastern Louisiana Area Health Education Center, is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the SLU
Student Union, Room 213.
Kraemer has been a registered nurse for 20 years and has a master's degree in health. She
will cover topics such as how hormones affect Chronic Fatigue, depression, PMS, pain,
headaches, anxiety, appetite, memory and mood; signs and symptoms of hormone imbalance;
estrogen, progesterone, testosterone; natural and prescription treatment options, and the pros and
cons of hormone replacement therapy.
