YOUTH ART MONTH EXHIBIT FEATURES LAB SCHOOL STUDENTS' WORK 
     HAMMOND -- Every student attending Southeastern Louisiana University's Lab School
will have a work of art displayed March 1-12 at Southeastern's Sims Memorial Library in
celebration of Youth Art Month.
     An opening reception for the exhibit will be held Monday, March 1, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m  at
the Library. Demonstrations by the Lab School's Art Club students will begin at 7 p.m.  
     Art Club members are: Eric Burton, Jennifer Smith, Colby France, Amisa Naeem, Uzma
Naeem, Laeken Mire, Sarah Wronkoski, Jaquetta Watson, Shante' Walker and Kendel Alford
     The four decade tradition of the observance of Youth Art Month in March emphasizes the
value of art education for all children and encourages support for quality school art programs,
said Denise Holly, Lab School art instructor.  The theme for this decade's celebration of Youth
Art Month is, "Art Can Make a World of Difference".
