SLU SLATES NOTARY PUBLIC REVIEW CLASS
HAMMOND -- A non-credit course
analyzing the powers, duties and responsibilities of the Louisiana Notary
Public will be offered Wednesdays, March 3-April 7 at Southeastern Louisiana
University.
The class, sponsored by Southeastern’s
Continuing Education department, costs $340 and will be held 6-8 p.m. in
Room 37 of the Garrett College of Business Building.
Instructor Douglas T. Curet,
a Hammond attorney and business law lecturer in Southeastern’s management
department, will help prepare notarial candidates for the examination given
by the Parish Notarial Commission. The course will also benefit those in
financial institutions, real estate, businesses and para-legals.
