SLU SPONSORS HIGH SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE NOV. 19 AND 20
     HAMMOND -- High School students and their parents are invited to Southeastern
Louisiana University's annual Open House, scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. November 19 and 20
on the Hammond campus. 
     Each day's events will begin with check-in in the concourse of the University Center at
Gate Three. The day will also feature an information fair, presentations, campus tours,
give-aways, and a luncheon.
     Participants can learn about academic departments, student organizations, student
leadership, residential life, campus dining, and financial aid (including Louisiana's TOPS
scholarship program). They also can get details on Southeastern admissions standards and will
have the opportunity to apply for admission online. 
     Tours of academic departments and residence hall also will be available as well as
one-on-one consultations about financial aid, testing, and other opportunities.
