SBDC OFFERS PATENT, COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK INFORMATION
     HAMMOND   Hammond and surrounding area small business people, entrepreneurs
and private investors will have an opportunity on January 19 to discuss ideas, inventions and
technology needs with a registered patent agent and product development/technology specialist.
     Robert Montgomery, author of "The Inventors Journal and The Inventor's Guide," will be
available at the Southeastern Louisiana University Small Business Development Center from 9
a.m. to 4 p.m. The Southeastern SBDC is located in the R. Norval Garrett College of Business
and Technology Building on Western Ave.
     Montgomery will discuss questions regarding intellectual property matters such as
patents, copyrights and trademarks, and the acquisition of such through the United States Patent
and Trademark Office or Copyright Office.
