SLU, DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE OFFER RAPE AGGRESSION DEFENSE
CLASS FOR WOMEN
     HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University and the 21st Judicial District
Attorney's Office will offer "RAD: Rape Aggression Defense," a free program for women on
sexual awareness, prevention and self-defense.
     University Police Community Education Officer Patrick Gibson said the special three-
day course will be offered from 4-8 p.m. Sept. 12-14 at the university's Kinesiology and Health
Studies Building. 
     Since enrollment is limited, women interested in participating should sign up now,
Gibson said.
     Gibson will present the course along with Heather Dugar of the 21st Judicial District Rape
Crisis Center. To register, contact Gibson at 504-549-2009 or Dugar at 1-800-572-0083.
