SPRING ART EXHIBITS SCHEDULED AT SLU'S CAMPUS GALLERIES
     HAMMOND -- New art exhibits for the spring are scheduled for Southeastern Louisiana
University's galleries. 
     Southeastern's Clark Hall Gallery will host the first exhibit of the semester, The Next
Wave. The exhibit open Jan 25 with a reception from 3-6 pm. The Next Wave features fresh new
works in all media by graduate students from LSU, Louisiana Tech, Tulane, and the University
of
New Orleans and is on exhibit through Feb. 26.
     Other exhibits scheduled for the Clark Hall Gallery include A Louisiana Retrospective
which features the works of more than 50 recipients of the Louisiana Division of the Arts  
fellowships; and the SLU Senior Exhibition which showcases works in all media by graduating
seniors.
     Scheduled for the Sims Memorial Library are the Louisiana Old State Capitol's traveling
exhibit, The Morial Legacy, with photographs chronicling the careers of both Mayors Dutch
Morial and Marc Morial; the SLU Lab School Students Art Exhibition, in celebration of Youth
Art Month; Cite d'artsistes, an exhibition organized by the French government, and the SLU
annual Student Juried Art Exhibition where SLU students vie for top honors in all media.
