TAMMANY RESIDENTS OCT. 16      HAMMOND – St. Tammany Parish residents and Lions fans are invited to cheer on the Southeastern Louisiana University football team and enjoy free tailgate from 4-6 p.m., Oct. 16 on the Hammond campus.      The Southeastern Alumni Association is hosting the “St. Tammany Night” tailgate in Friendship Circle before the Lions’ kick-off at 6 p.m. against Mercyhurst. Free food, drinks and entertainment, including music, a space walk, and clown, will be provided.       “We know we have plenty of friends and alumni from St. Tammany, so we want to invite them all to come out and spend a day with the ‘neighbors,’” said alumni director Kathy Pittman. “And it’s a great family atmosphere, so be sure to bring the little ones.”      New Southeastern Athletics Hall of Fame inductees will be announced and all Hall of Fame members will be honored at halftime.
