SLU BASEBALL TAILGATE PARTY PLANNED 
     HAMMOND -- Alumni and friends of Southeastern Louisiana University are invited to a
tailgate party before the April 29 Southeastern Lions vs. Tulane Green Wave "Pontchartrain
Cup" baseball game.
     The party is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. in the picnic area behind Alumni Field, the SLU
baseball diamond, on General Pershing Ave. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served and games,
face painting and other entertainment will be available for children.
     April 29 is also "Employee Night" for Southeastern faculty and staff and their families,
who are also invited to tailgate and enjoy the Tulane-SLU game. State Senator John J. Hainkel
Jr. of New Orleans, founder of the Pontchartrain Cup, will be on hand to present the Cup to the
winner of the 6:30 p.m. baseball game.
     The tailgate party and Employee Night is sponsored by the SLU Alumni Association,
Student Government Association, Campus Activities Board, President's Office and Pride Day
Committee.
