SLU HOSTS INFORMATION FAIR FOR ADULTS ENTERING COLLEGE
HAMMOND -- Southeastern Louisiana University is hosting an information fair
for adults interested in entering college, Sunday November. 8, 2-5 pm in the Student
Union. The fair is free and open to the public.
The Time Is Now program for Adults is sponsored by Southeastern's Office of
Adult, Veterans and Commuter Services. Aimed at both, adults returning to college and
those entering for the first time, the program guides potential students through the
enrollment process and also provides assistance and support during their college career.
According to Milas Love, director of Adult, Veterans and Commuter Services, the
Time Is Now fair is an opportunity for potential students to get the information they need
to enter college in a relaxed informal setting, to make entering college easier. Several
university departments will be on hand to show what the university has to offer. Campus
tours will be available and Southeastern's financial aid office will also offer immediate
electronic filing services.
