Fall 1997 Sought, coordinated, and advertised Beth Kirkpatrick's visit to SLU and presentation to faculty and students. Mrs. Kirkpatrick has been recognized as one of the top physical educators in the nation, having received national teaching excellence awards and her program featured on national television. She has spoken at more than 400 conferences, workshops, and conventions, including delivering the keynote address at the International Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation.
Spring 1997 Coordinated and supervised the Department of Kinesiology & Health Studies' participation and display at "Rock & Roar, The Mane Event," a day set aside for high school students to visit SLU and learn about departments and college majors.
Fall 1999 Served as faculty mentor for Joe Shim (new KHS faculty member).
Spring 1999 Attended half-day seminar at the Southern District AAHPERD Convention on NASPE/NCATE folio preparation.
2000/2001 Primary preparer of KHS Departments undergraduate and graduate NASPE/NCATE Folios.
