Mission:
We are an honor society of students dedicated to students of the biological
sciences. We strive to maintain high grades, research the phenomenon of
life (biology), and stimulate interest in the biological sciences.
Membership:
To join our prestigious organization you must be a biological science
major with a 3.399 GPA or higher. Our membership fee is $45 and its a lifetime
fee. A $5 semester fee is assessed to fund a scholarship program for research.
Inductions are generally held in the fall semester.
Meetings:
Our meetings are held once a month in Meade Hall rm. 206, typically
on Wednesdays at 3pm. If you cannot make it, do not be alarmed-pertinent
information is posted on this web site and by email.
Points:
To maintain member involvement in our organization, we have decided to
implement a point system. To remain a member, you must earn a minimum of
5 points. The following is a preliminary list of activites that will earn
you points.
